Naming kits is often the hardest part of the design process, and I have a tradition of naming them after places.
The settlers who colonised New Zealand had a similar habit of renaming places here with the name of somewhere in England.
I really don't think the Herne Bay in Auckland had a lot in common with Herne Bay in Kent, England. And it probably has even less in common now, that you need millions to buy there. The settlers couldn't even imagine that.
