It's BYOC ("Build your own Collection") time again at The Lilypad, and once again the designers have been given a swoon-worthy palette to create with.
[BUT don't miss out on the secret link below to the subscriber-only kit option]
It's been an interesting couple of weeks for me while I was working on this collection. I am a bit slow on the uptake and it's taken me until this advanced age to work out that sitting at a screen for 14 hours a day really is as bad as they say!
Running around after kids has always kept me reasonably active despite lots of annoying health stuff but now they no longer need me to do that so much, it has been too easy to slide into sticking to that chair. Like lots of us with chronic pain it's easier not to push it, especially over a miserable winter, but having spent the last couple of weeks doing just that I realise the "move it or lose it" slogan does have something going for it.
The icing on the cake has been The Husband (all 6'5" of him) enjoying coming along with me to dance classes. Me, him and 45 women (average age 50).
He does a mean "Single Ladies".
Got to love him for that!
Anyway, to cut a long story short, that is the inspiration behind "Turning it Around" - brand new and on sale this weekend as part of the BYOC.
And with that gorgeous palette I couldn't resist making a Halloween kit as well. They are always so much fun to design!
I don't have many Halloween photos, but had fun scrapping with it anyway ..
Look at this fabulous page by Iowan that brings them all together:
PS If you are a designer or you love brushes don't forget to pop back for the "special Saturday" Digital Scrapbook Day new releases over the weekend. I have some massive brush bundles that will be new in store and on sale
I'll leave you with just some of the great pages from the team and the Pollys using the new BYOC designs.
