Hello everyone, I hope you've all had a good week and that you're enjoying the weekend. Maybe you'll find some time to do a little scrapping and in case your mojo is a little flagging, I'm here to bring you some wonderful inspiration from the Lynn's gallery at The Lilypad!
Lynn's Belle Rosa Kit is new in the store this week and you can find it here. It's a beautiful collection of goodies and I really like how it's been put to good use already.
Jana_NJ has incorporated all the colours in the Belle Rosa Kit so perfectly on her Delight page. I love the blended patterns of the paper included in the kit and the pretty flower cluster is the perfect element. Topping it off with one of the Stitched Down Sayings (also new to the store this week, you can find them here), grounded by a little heart pebble and the one word title, both from the kit, make this page complete.
Jana_NJ also used Spring Board Template 2 and Blue Skies Ahead Transfers.
The gorgeous pinks in the Belle Rosa Kit provide a super backdrop for wvsandy's photo on her She said Yes page. Isn't it wonderful?! I really like the layered cluster here and you can see a sheet of the softly patterned paper in action here, beautifully understated. The pretty transfer and decorative foliage help tell the story of this beautifully romantic page and I love the title work.
wvsandy also used Wooden Frames, Elise Kit (alpha) and Bracket Dates.
After showing you the glorious pinks in the Belle Rosa Kit, KarenB has shown us the other side of this kit on her Best of Times layout. Lovely, soft teals and browns. That's what I love about Lynn's products. While sometimes a kit or element pack can appear girly or masculine for example, when you study them a little closer, you'll see there is so much versatility and you're bound to find little gems in each pack regardless of the nature of your layout. KarenB went on to cleverly use a piece from the Worn and Ripped Mega Collection, giving her photo a torn edge. So cool! I like the soft tones here and the placement of the heart pebbles and stitched down saying balance this page beautifully. There's something for everyone in the Stitched Down Sayings collection and you can find them here.
I love the photo treatment zinzilah has used on this next page. The sketching and watery effect is fabulous and I like the use of the stitched down sayings creating that visual triangle making for a great piece of art. The worn and ripped pieces add depth and also a casual feel to this super page. Again, check out the Worn and Ripped Mega Collection, it has such a variety and you're bound to find a piece or two that will add extra oomph to any page!
zinzilah also used Kibblewick Kit.
If you're looking for more inspiration using the new goodies in the store this week, check out this blog post too.
So that's all for me this week. I hope you feel inspired to document some of your stories and memories this weekend and share them with us in Lynn's gallery over at The Lilypad. Till next time, bye-bye!
