When I first started scanning old photos I would make attempt after attempt at scanning them perfectly straight so I could preserve the realistic photo edges and borders. But I quickly realised it was a frustrating and fruitless task so I created my worn edges and borders so I could quickly add realistic edges to either scanned heritage photos or new digital photos to add realism and dimension to my pages. They are great for adding photos to blog posts too!
Each one comes as a simple rubbed, distressed edge and also as a vintage paper or card border and as a classic white photo border. They are available at The Lilypad, for personal and commercial use:
