Lynn has put together a great set of kits for the NOVEMBER BYOC at The Lilypad this month.
As I looked over the Creative Teams layouts for Lynn's "Light Me Home" BYOC kits this month, it struck me that on every page there is always something that grabs my attention first. I thought I would share what that is. It may be fun to see if what I noticed first is what YOU notice first. Here are a few examples:
First up is "Light of My Life" by Jana_NJ. The glow of the street light grabbed my eye right away. The bright glow contrasts so beautifully against the grays and purple.
Judy, Chigirl, used the three street lamps with the title word art in such a striking manner. It fills so much of the white space that it grabbed my eye right away.
djp332, Donna, made a double spread which is always an attention-getter. However, it was the spiral notebook pages against the busy background paper that got me. No wonder she titled it "Hiking".
"Light of My Life" by gwtwred has a focal photo that jumped right off the page for me. What a cutie!
Anita, apottinger's layout "Simple This" has a pair of photo frames that caught my attention drawing me in to the cute kids. I have to admit I love that single flower, too.
The wide striped background paper captured my attention in Sandy's layout "Peace". That is probably because I have a "thing" for wide stripes and big polka dots.
Lastly, the out of bounds birdhouse in the window on janedee's "Home Sweet Home" page is really unique. I think I'll have to scraplift this someday.
These are just a few of the great layouts in Lynn's gallery at The Lilypad. Hop on over to check them out for even more fun and inspiration. Each of the layouts above is linked to the gallery for credits. Oh, and the kits are on sale right now, too (through Nov. 6th)!
Thanks for playing along with me. Happy scrapping!!
