Thomas the Tank Engine and his friends were fixtures in our house for many years. There was one Thomas book that Daughter-Two was so attached to it lived in a special pouch beside her bed, had to be read every night (and had several back-up copies salted away for emergency replacement). So it's fair to say this day was a big hit:
