Hi all! Lynn has three wonderful kits available at The Lilypad as her contribution to the BYOC this month and her CT has been busy making magic with them on a great variety of layouts. The beauty of her Blue Skies Ahead elements, Blue Skies Ahead papers, and Blue Skies Ahead Transfers is that they work well if you are a single kit scrapper or if you like to mix and match with other kits and/or designers.
Lynn's Blue Skies Ahead Transfers are also PERFECT for her June Blog Challenge, too. You can find details about that challenge HERE.
Well, let's get started looking at the fabulous layouts that should bring you lots of inspiration.
Each layout is linked to Lynn's gallery so you can check out the credits and leave some love.
First is one, "Florida Day 3", from Donna (djp332) which shows that the kits are great for your summery pocket page layouts.
Jane (janedee) blended a large photo into a creased background paper. She put together a great cluster at the side. The blue transfer extends the sky of the photo so creatively. Inviting isn't it?
Sandy (wvsandy) has offset the gorgeous blue sky and water in her photo with Lynn's peachy background solid. The shadowing of the net elements is just perfect! Lots of great details compliment the photo, too.
The next two layouts by Karen (Karen B) really show how versatile Lynn's designs are no matter what your style is -- artsy or clean & simple. In "School's Out" she used the negative space of her photo to add a lot of artsy details. The word art and journaling look like they were made to go together.
In "Beach BBQ" she rocked the c&s design with a small circular frame giving the layout a nautical feel.
Jana (Jana_NJ) has a layout that makes me wish I had a pool. The shimmery water looks perfect with the transfers and elements of Blue Skies Ahead.
Whee!!! Don't you just feel like you are flying as you look at Anita's (apottinger) page. The title is just perfect for the photo and layout. She combined elements and transfers with great flair!!
Lastly, I think Lorry (lorryfach) achieved quite an exotic feel with her choice of background paper and details on her page titled "al fresco". Yum!!
I am sure you will agree that Lynn has created three wonderful kits for this month's BYOC. Get on over to the Lilypad before the week-end is over so you can pick them up on sale.
Happy Scrapping!!
